Sister Lawna Jocqui

My journey with the DFW Sisters began in the fall of 2010 after the reformation of the house from the Sisters of the Yellow Rose. Upon the house’s elevation to a fully professed house in late 2011 the founders and charters members, including myself, were elevated to full professed status during our exequatur ceremony the following spring – held at The Round-Up Saloon & Dance Hall on Cedar Springs Rd.

After countless weekdays, weekends and holidays manifesting, I decided to step back a bit near the end of the decade to focus on my personal life, family and some self improvement and was graciously moved to elder status in our house. I’m not quitting or retiring. Only waiting to re-emerge, energized and ready to go full throttle again.

The Calling:

The “calling” or more of seeing a need and wanting to be a part of a solution to fill the need. Whether it be to make someone laugh, bring joy, lead someone to a place to receive assistance or something more – I find it fulfilling to be of assistance.
